Christmas Photos

Here are some cute photos from our Christmas at "Mimi's" house. Jacob had a great time playing with all his new treasures. I think he really enjoyed being the only child there, as there was no competition from his cousins for the attention.

Building a Gingerbread House

Jacob and his daddy built a gingerbread house when daddy came back from Louisiana on Wednesday night. I had thought about buying a gingerbread making kit, but Jacob said that would be too long, as in too much time! Some of his friends were

making gingerbread houses and so he decided he wanted to make one as well! I scrapped together a few things and it is what it is!

Our new ride

Ryan's company (Entech) Christmas party was fabulous! We all met at his office and took this Hummer Limo to Main Event where the kiddos played games. Then we drove to Moody Gardens and saw Jim Carrey's "A Christmas Carole" at the Imax. After the movie we toured the Festival of Lights, which was beautiful!

Jacob's school Christmas program

Jacob wore a sweater! It was unbelieveable! He was very unhappy about not just being able to wear a t-shirt! I wanted him to look nicer for the Christmas program. The program was awesome! Jacob did really well. He sand loudly and did all the hand motions. It was all beautiful.

It Snowed in Katy!

We had snow, in Katy! Jacob loved it. Jacob went out to play in the snow three times. Once with Uncle Jeremy & Travis, once with mommy, and once with daddy! His favorite thing about the snow was to make snowballs and throw them! I think Draco loved the snow more than any of us though! I will post more pictures in another post later.

Our Little Troy Aikman

We took Jacob to the park this weekend. He had such a great time playing football with his daddy. He throws a great spiral! Ryan says we should have named him Troy.

The Pirate Pumpkin

Aunt Paula sent us an awesome Mr. Potato Head Pumpkin Decorating Kit in the design of a pirate! Jacob had such a blast using a screwdriver to put holes into our pumpkin, then putting the different pieces in. He and his daddy worked so well together to create this funny pumpkin!

Fun dress-up times!

Jacob has such a fun time playing dress up with different costumes. He is so dramatic and runs around the house portraying his character.

Pumpkin Patch

We went to the pumpkin patch at St. Peter's chuch this evening to pick out a small pumpkin for Jacob and one to carve. Ryan and I liked all the "gross" looking pumpkins with the bumps and imperfects, but Jacob wanted a nice smooth pumpkin and didn't want anything to do with the ones we liked! Jacob named his small pumpkin "Squashy II". I could barely get any photos of him, as he wouldn't sit still!

I snapped a couple of quick photos of Ryan and Jacob to test out our new camera. They are certainly my FAVORITE guys!

Dewberry Farms

Here are a few photos from our trip to Dewberry Farms in Brookshire this past Tuesday. We were only there an hour and a half due to a down pour. Hopefully we will be able to go back in November, as there was so much we would have like to have seen. Jacob said his favorite part was picking up a pumpkin from the pumpkin patch. All the kids were picking up bright oranges pumpkins, but Jacob feel in love with a green and orange stripped one!

We grew it!

This was the first thing we grew in our garden. A 35 lb. watermellon! Jacob loved watching it grow and watering it. It was actually very sweet and juicy. We shared with neighbors and family and ate on it for days!
