I made Jacob a pirate ship cake for his birthday party. It was a lot of work! Actually this is the second cake, the first was a hung failure, so I trashed it! Jacob told me that "it was exactly how he had imagined it"! Hearing those words made it worth the effort. The kids (and mommies) loved it!

The cake
I made Jacob a pirate ship cake for his birthday party. It was a lot of work! Actually this is the second cake, the first was a hung failure, so I trashed it! Jacob told me that "it was exactly how he had imagined it"! Hearing those words made it worth the effort. The kids (and mommies) loved it!

Jacob's Preschool Graduation
Jacob has graduated from Ms. Teresa and Ms. Amy's 4 year old program at Crosspoint Christian School. His teachers said something about each child. For Jacob, they said that he learned how to spell his name before any other child and that he is a leader and good friend. We went out to lunch at Chick-fil-a with classmates after the ceremony. What a great year!

Another Zoo Trip
We had to get in another trip to the Houston Zoo before it got to hot to even breathe there! The weather was great. Jacob loved seeing all the animals so much at this trip. He wanted me to read all the display signs to find out every detail about the animals. His favorites were the seals, komodo dragon, alligator, and the toucan.
Baseball Ready!
This is what the boys say at every game as they get ready to play! It is always to cute to hear them chant, "baseball ready! These are a few pictures of Jacob playing against the Twins.
