This week...

We've had quite a busy week, as we usually do after returning home from a trip to N. Texas. Here is a quick rundown of our busy week:

Monday: Jacob spent the majority of his day with his Mimi and cousin Tyler. I spent my time (w/o Jacob) running errands and cleaning the house. My main goal for Monday was to get bedding for Jacob's new (well, new to him) bed. Mission accomplished. We spent some time outdoors that evening and relaxed for a while.

Tuesday: I am taking a Beth Moore Bible Study at our church on Tuesdays, for the next five weeks. It is a great study about the Psalms of Ascents (Chapters 120-132). We are there for two hours, which is a great amount of time for Jacob to play with others his age. Tuesday afternoon we ran more errands and played at the house.

Wednesday: Jacob's cousin Tyler came over to play. The boys played until after lunch, then we went to the Katy Mills Mall. They were hosting a "Pirate Adventure". It was a great performance with a stage, props, costumes and all. We mets some of our friends there. The boys loved it and received treasures at the end of the performance. The loot was a pirate's hat, eye patch, ring, mug, and sword. It was great. We came home right as the rain started, lots of rain. We did get quite soaked. We took Tyler back to Mimi's house and then headed home. We spent the evening reading and watching TV.

Thursday: Our friends Melissa and Brian came over today to spend the day with us. We went to the Barn Park in Katy and then to McDonald's for lunch. More rain came our way and we got soaked again getting in and out of the car. Melissa and Brian spent the afternoon with us at our home. The boys had lots of fun playing with Jacob's toys. This evening we took our pups for a long walk and are concluding the evening by relaxing.

Tomorrow: No huge plans as of yet. Jacob and I have to pick up a b-day present for a party we are going to on Saturday. It is a bowling party, and will be the first time Jacob will get to bowl. It should be lots of fun. Jacob, his daddy, and Papa are going to the Driving Ranch (Range) tomorrow evening. Jacob is really looking forward to his golf-golf.
