Jacob was such a great guy during our medical drama from yesterday. He was a trooper for his EKG and chest x-ray, so we had a Fun Friday! Ryan had planned to take the day off earlier in the week, so it worked out perfectly! This morning the guys went to Jacob's favorite breakfast place, IHOP, of course! Jacob had an omlet, two pancakes and hashbrowns. After IHOP, we finished Jacob's rocket (a birthday present) and took it and his kites to a wide-open field in Katy. There was no wind, so neither kite went very high. The rocket (which uses vinegar and baking soda) failed to launch on the first attemp. The second attempt was much better, but of course only last a couple of seconds! Ryan took Jacob to see his Mimi and Papa, as they have just returned from Argentina. Jacob could not wait to see his surprise, which is a totally fun hat! After dinner we went swimming. It was a fun Friday!
